A Palestinian Authority terrorist who attempted to attack a group of IDF soldiers at checkpoint located halfway between Kiryat Arba and Hebron failed in his “mission” early Monday evening.

According to a statement by the IDF, “An initial investigation reveals the terrorist produced a knife and walked towards a group of soldiers at the Givat Avot checkpoint in Hebron. The soldiers opened fire at him.”
None of the soldiers were injured in the attack. Military officials said the investigation is continuing.
