A terrorist shot 13 bullets in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo at 1:45 AM Shabbat morning, according to a report in Hadarei Hadarim.

A group of ultra-orthodox youths were sitting in a garden on Goldknof street in Jerusalem’s Ramat Shlomo neighborhood, when they heard 2 shots rang out. When the third shot hit a metal bar in the children’s park near them, they realized someone one shooting at them. As they ran, more shots rang out towards them.

No one was injured in the attack. The terrorist escaped.

Police discovered 13 bullet shells along a fence in another neighborhood garden on Busksboim street, 70 meters away.

Police restricted pedestrian traffic in the neighborhood for the rest of Shabbat as large numbers of security forces and a helicopter scoured the area for the terrorist.

Ramat Shlomo is a Haredi neighborhood of 20,000 people, situated between Ramot and French Hill in Jerusalem. It is right next door to the Arab neighborhoods of Shuafat and Beit Hanina.

Ramat Shlomo is best known for its exact replica of Chabad’s 770 building.
