Terror attacks are varying in style and method but are continuing in frequency across the Jewish State.
Police report a stun grenade was thrown by unidentified attackers at a car in the quiet Gush Dan town of Kiryat Ono. The attacker in the vehicle from which the grenade was thrown managed to escape, police said. No one was physically injured in the attack, but no details were made available about the condition of the targeted vehicle, and the motive is unclear.
An Egged bus went up in flames at mid-afternoon Monday at the Beit Yehoshua train station, located near Netanya and Herzliya. The cause of the blaze is unknown.
About five minutes earlier, Israel Police responded to disturbances by stone-throwing terrorists in the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat. Police fired stun grenades and tear gas in order to get the mob under control.
In the late afternoon hours, terrorists hurled rocks at two Israeli buses on the road between Efrat and the “T-junction,” about 10 minutes south of Jerusalem. In one of the incidents, the windshield of the bus was smashed.
Earlier in the day, terrorists hurled stones at a car and at Israeli security forces on the same road, in the same place. No injuries reported.
An Israeli public bus came under a stoning attack Monday evening on Route 264, near the Bedouin city of Rahat in southern Israel. None of the passengers were physically injured but there were no details made available about the status of the bus.
Arab terrorists from the Palestinian Authority also attacked an IDF observation post Monday night near the Jewish community of Ofra, in Samaria. No one was physically injured in the attack, according to local sources. The attackers fled the scene and managed to escape towards the Arab village of Silwad.
