Arab terrorists attacked Israeli motorists traveling near the junction leading to the Jewish community of Tekoa on Monday evening, located in Judea’s eastern section of Gush Etzion.

The Israeli vehicle was hit by stones hurled by the Arab attackers as it neared the junction. No one in the vehicle was physically injured but the vehicle itself was damaged.

Stoning attacks can be lethal, but Arab road terrorists also employ other means of killing as well, including vehicular ramming attacks.

In 2012, Tekoa resident Dr. Shira Abramson, a doctor at Shaare Zedek Medical Center and mother of seven, was killed in a head-on collision with an Arab truck near the junction. Abramson’s husband, well-known rabbi and musician David “Harpo” Abramson, had died of a heart attack just two years earlier.
