Thousands of Arabs in the Palestinian Authority rallied in major cities on Monday in support of “Palestinian national rights,” the official WAFA news agency reported Monday.

The supporters waved pictures of Yasser Arafat, the first terrorist to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said at one rally, “We are here today to affirm our support to President Abbas’ efforts and endeavors to find a solution to our just cause, leading to the end of occupation and the establishment of the state of Palestine within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.”
