U.S. President Donald Trump met in the wee hours of Thursday with three American hostages, freed by North Korea, as a good will gesture prior to the meeting between Trump’s meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.

The hostages met with the president at Joint Base Andrews. They arrived late at night, accompanied by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who was in North Korea for talks with the government of Kim Jong Un in advance of Trump’s meeting with the Pyongyang leader.
