Two Dead in Modi’in Plane Crash

Two people died today when a light plane crashed onto Menachem Begin Street in Modi’in this morning. Shmulik Segel, Zaka’s Modi’in director said, “It was a miracle that plane didn’t crash onto a car with passengers.”

Pieces of the plane were scattered on the street, and the fire department had to extract the two bodies from the cockpit.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
