Overnight, two Israelis were lightly injured after stones were thrown at their car on Highway 443.

The attack happened near the Maccabim checkpoint.

Highway 443 is the alternate main highway that connects Jerusalem to the country’s center.

Following the High Court’s decision to permit Palestinian Authority traffic on the road, stoning attacks on Israeli citizens driving on the road have gone up.
