Two additional IDF soldiers were killed yesterday in battles with Hamas, raising the number of killed soldiers to 27. The IDF has cleared for publication the name of one of the soldiers, Sgt. Oded Ben Sira (22) from Nir Etzion.

2040 rockets and mortars fired at Israel from Gaza since Operation Protective Edge began, with 1570 hitting Israel, and 396 intercepted by Iron Dome.

The IDF struck 2924 terror targets.

23 terror tunnels were destroyed, and 183 terrorists have been eliminated. Clearly, not nearly enough.

Operations in the Hamas fortress of Shejaiya continue.

Overnight, IDF soldiers in Gaza discovered 3 underground rocket launchers embedded right next to a school. Some of the launchers had already been used over the past few days, and the rest were primed to be launched.

Hamas has been providing its Gazan citizen’s directives on how to talk to the media, and what to say on social media sites.

The IDF also intercepted a weapons shipment that terrorists were trying to bring into the Judea, via the Dead Sea.
