The attack began on the corner of Bar Lev and Shimon Hatzadik Street at the Shimon Hatzadik Light Rail platform. The driver then continued onto Moshe Zaks Street where he ran over more people.

The terrorist, not satisfied with running over people at the two locations, then got out of the car and began beating people with a metal pole.

Two Border Patrol police shot and killed the terrorists, preventing a worse tragedy.

The terrorist was from Shuafat and known to be a Hamas operative. He has been identified as Ibrahim Al-Akari.
