An F-16 fighter jet takes off from Ramat David air force base.

The navigator of the Israeli F-16 that was shot down on Saturday has been released from the hospital and sent home to continue his recovery. He was lightly injured. Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke with him briefly.

The seriously injured pilot has been disconnected from the respirator and is now listed in moderate condition.
