Going Beyond the Medical NormFor many American Jewish students who want to study medicine, studying at the Technion American Medical School in Haifa is an attractive option.
Vice Prime Minister Moshe Yaalon bucked conventional wisdom in his comments at the Herzliya Conference Thursday, telling the audience that Iran’s nuclear facilities are vulnerable to a military strike.
“Any facility defended by a human being can be penetrated. Any facility in Iran can be hit, and I speak from experience as the IDF chief of staff,” Yaalon said.
Yaalon also revealed that the explosion at the Iranian missile facility in November 2011 struck a system intended for the manufacture of long-range missiles capable of striking the United States.
Despite recent US claims to the contrary, Yaalon claimed that “the West has the ability to attack, but as long as Iran isn’t convinced about their determination to carry it out – they will continue their manipulations. The Iranians believe this determination is non-existent, as far as a military action and sanctions.”
