Yair Lapid, the media celebrity who recently announced his plans to enter politics, silenced any speculation that he would be joining the Kadima party.

In a message posted to his Facebook page, Lapid was sharp in his criticism of Kadima and unequivocal about his intentions. “There’s something that should probably be clarified: There’s no way I’ll join Kadima,” he wrote. “They are a gang of cynical politicians who left other parties and no one has any idea what – if anything – they believe in, and there is no way that I’ll join them. Is that clear enough?”

Lapid also posted a message belittling the Labor party, saying that it had “traveled the whole way to the radical left.”
