Yesha Council Chairman Dani Dayan will endorse and campaign for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Likud-Beitenu ticket, Ma’ariv has reported.

According to Ma’ariv, earlier today, Dayan sent a text message to the chairmen of the regional councils of Judea and Samaria to notifying that he will publicly endorse Netanyahu and that he step down from his position as Yesha Council Chairman to remove any conflict of interest.

In interview with Ma’ariv, Dayan explained that he feared that the left would unite and that with the help of President Shimon Peres who is tasked with choosing a party chairman to form a coalition, it would be the Left and not Netanyahu which would form a government.

Despite, the settlement freeze he said settlement construction is booming and despite the Bar Ilan speech, in which Netanyahu endorsed a demilitarized Palestinian state, he said a Palestinian state was not on the horizon.

“After everything,” Dayan said, “this was an excellent government for the settlements.”

I guess he'd know better than I would but I would be curious as to how much construction went on INSIDE the "blocs" like Ariel and Gush Etzion, E1 and how much housing was built OUTSIDE of the blocs. Those numbers would tell you how serious Bibi has been about construction. Everyone (even Olmert, Peres and Livni etc) assumes that Israel will keep its big blocs even if it involves land swaps. What I'd like to know is how strategic towns like Beit El, Kiryat Arba, Elon Moreh, Shiloh, Itamar, and the communities in the Jordan Valley have fared in the last few years. I worry that Israel will "fill out" its main blocs and then engage in evacuating (i.e expelling) those communities on the outside of the wall: Gush Katif multiplied. If anyone has a link or data, I'd love to see it just for my own curiosity.

  2. HE DOES NOT KNOW BETTER. HE IS GETTING GOOD MONEY.
WOULD YOU SELL OUT ERETZ YISRAEL FOR MONEY? WOULD YOU LIE FOR MONEY? HE WOULD
