Palestinian Authority students at Birzeit University near Ramallah attacked a visiting British envoy’s car Tuesday, preventing him from speaking at a symposium on creating a Palestinian Authority state.

British Consul-General Sir Vincent Fean managed to speak with university president Khalil al-Hindi, but when he left his office on campus, students, some of them with metal bars in hand, lunged towards him.

Security guards prevented the attackers from harming Fean. After he managed to get into his car, they attacked the vehicle with the rods, according to an eyewitness reporter for the Bethlehem-based Ma’an news agency.

The vehicle sustained minor damage, including a smashed mirror, as the driver sped away, sparing Fean injury or even worse.

The news agency said the students were protesting Britain’s position towards “the question of Palestine,” which raises the issue of exactly what they want since Britain fully supports PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas demands for establishing a PA capital in Jerusalem and taking over all of the land that was occupied by Jordan before the Six-Day War in 1967.

Perhaps the students want something else – like Tel Aviv?

Where is the outrage? Not one other media is reporting this. But then, when four US security personnel in Gaza were murdered delivering scholarship notices to gaza students, the ubber left media tried to hide that as well.

  2. Too bad they didn't get him. Maybe next time. Heck if they kill him it might even make the news if they can figure out a way to blame Jews for it.

  3. Arie's Pragmatic Politics says:

If they killed him, haaretz and Yediot would immediately blame "the settlers"

  4. Climp Jones says:

nothing new here. Feral Palestinian's run amok.

  5. Viernes Luz says:

Wow, Falsetinian students are being trained as “savages`or what?

  6. Ron Kall says:

Trained from birth. These are the supposedly smart arabs and they only know violence. Negotiations, what a farce. Israel is supposed to negotiate it's death!??

  7. Les Le Gear says:

Just because they are "university students" doesn't mean they are any less barbaric than the average arab. They are uncivilized thugs like their brethren in syria, iraq, egypt, etc.
