Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas resorted to conspiracy theories in the hope he could convince US President Trump that the videos Trump had watched of Abbas inciting against Israel were fabricated.

Trump had reportedly yelled at Abbas during their private Bethlehem meeting saying, “You tricked me in D.C. You talked there about your commitment to peace, but the Israelis showed me your involvement in incitement.”

At their public meeting, Trump openly rebuked Abbas for funding terrorism.

In one video which Trump reportedly showed Abbas, Abbas admitted in Arabic, “We incite and the Israelis incite.”

According to a report in Al Araby, Abbas told Trump to use the CIA’s resources to prove the videos were fabricated or taken out of context.

Sure they were.
