Israel Air Force aircraft attacked two military infrastructures belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in the north and south of the Gaza Strip overnight Tuesday, the IDF Spokesperson announced. The attack was carried out in response to a high-trajectory rocket fired at the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council.

The Hamas movement issued a statement denying responsibility for the rocket, but the IDF announcement stated that “by virtue of being the sovereign in the Gaza Strip, the terrorist organization Hamas is responsible for any attempt to harm the State of Israel.”
