Israeli soldiers extinguish a fire at a field in Nahal Oz started by arson kites flown by Palestinian Authority terrorists near the border with Gaza

Hamas-led arson terrorists in Gaza destroyed more forest land in southern Israel using incendiary balloons and kites on the first day of Sukkot.

At least eight fires were lit on Monday as a result of the arsonists who launched balloons attached to Molotov cocktails and explosive devices over the southern border.

They landed in places like the Be’eri Forest, Kissufim Forest, the Simhoni Forest, Kibbutz Alumim and Kibbutz Nahal Oz, according to the Jewish National Fund (JNF)-Keren Kayemet L’Israel (KKL).

The Israel Nature and Parks Authority worked together with KKL-JNF and firefighting teams to gain control over the flames.

Nearly a dozen fires were started on Sunday in southern Israel due to arson terror balloons flown from Gaza, including one in the western Negev at the entrance to the city of Netivot.
