A Gaza-based terror group operating under the protection of the ruling Hamas terrorist organization – the Mujahideen Brigades – has threatened the life of an IDF commander. The threat was issued by the group via a video on its Facebook page, according to Quds News and the Israeli Kan public broadcasting network.

The group threatened in the video to target the head of the IDF Southern Command, Maj-Gen Eyal Zamir, warning that he and other IDF officers are within range of its snipers, and “remain within arm’s reach… the time approaches.”
In the video, Zalmir is seen accompanied by a group of officers and soldiers on Israel’s southern border with Gaza during an inspection tour of the area.
