Arab terrorists were sleepless in Gaza on Sunday night and clearly decided the rest of the region shouldn’t sleep either.

After having already launched two rocket attacks on southern Israel earlier in the evening, rocket launches from the region triggered alarms throughout the border region, forcing families to race again to shelters, dragging children out of beds and into the safe spaces, awake and asleep.

At approximately 15 minutes to 3 am, the Red Alert incoming rocket warning siren was triggered in the Gaza Belt region, the city of Ashkelon and its industrial zone.

Among the communities alerted were Zikim, Carmia, Yad Mordechai, and Netiv Ha’Asara.

Two rockets were launched, but neither of them made it past the Gaza border and both of them landed within the enclave, the IDF confirmed. No physical injuries were reported.

Home Front Command has reiterated that all residents must head immediately to the shelters and safe spaces the second an alarm is triggered, and stay there for at least 10 minutes on the clock.
