United Hatzalah volunteers sent volunteers to Sderot, Ashkelon, and Netivot on Monday evening to help deal with those affected by the Hamas rocket attacks.

Three additional ambulance and teams were sent with extra protective vests and helmets for volunteers to use.

In addition three fly cars and a logistical command center were sent to Sderot and the surrounding area to provide extra services for the residents.

Eli Beer, President and Founder of United Hatzalah said: “Part of the mission of the extra teams heading down to the southern cities is to relieve our local volunteers and provide EMS response to the residents of the hardest hit areas in today’s barrage. Our team have been working hard throughout the day and need to be with their families tonight. Volunteers from Jerusalem and the Merkaz will be taking shifts and responding to any emergencies over the course of the night in Sderot, Netivot and Ashkelon.”
