Palestinian Authority Arabs riot against IDF soldiers near Ramallah.

An armed Arab rioter was shot Wednesday afternoon after he and others attacked an IDF patrol in the village of Dir Nizzam north of Ramallah.

Approximately 30 Arabs attacked the IDF soldiers during a violent protest that took place Wednesday afternoon as the IDF patrol was operating in the village of Deir Nizzan, north of the Palestinian Authority capital city of Ramallah, in Samaria. The mob was hurling rocks at the troops, according to the IDF.

One of the rioters, reported to be 17-year-old Mousab Firas Tamimi of Deir Nizzam, was shot in the neck, according to Palestinian Authority sources. The injured attacker was evacuated from the scene by the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance service, which said that he subsequently died of his wounds.

The IDF said, “The circumstances are under investigation.”
