Australia has ended its direct aid to the Palestinian Authority following concerns that Australian money was being redirected to convicted terrorists and their families as part of the PA’s ‘pay for slay’ policy.

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop expressed concern that Australian aid was going to activities that “Australia would never support.”

Australia will instead be sending their aid to the “United Nations Humanitarian Fund for the Palestinian Territories” which provides direct material support to Palestinian Authority Arabs.

Israeli lawmakers are also moving forward on a bill that would automatically deduct the amounts paid to convicted Arab terrorists from the tax money that Israel collects on the PA’s behalf.

The PA has made it clear they will not stop payments to the jailed terrorists.

According to the Israel’s Ministry of Defense, hundreds of millions of dollars go to the PA’s “Martyrs’ Families Fund” and the “Palestinian Prisoners’ Club” every year.
