IDF Captain Ziv Dawes, z'l, IDF Sgt. Netanel Kahalani, z'l

The IDF Spokesperson has identified the two soldiers who were murdered Friday by a Palestinian Authority terrorist at Mevo Dotan.

Captain Ziv Dawes, z’l, 21, was a commander of the Halutz Brigade, and a resident of the Jewish community of Azor.

Sergeant Netanel Kahalani, z’l, 20, was a security driver from the Menashe Brigade, and a resident of the Jewish community of Elyakim.

Dawes was posthumously promoted from the rank of lieutenant to the rank of captain.

Kahalani was posthumously promoted from the rank of corporal to the rank of sergeant.

“The IDF participates in the sorrow of the families and will continue to accompany them,” the IDF Spokesperson said.
