Machsom Watch is an extreme-leftist organization of women who conduct daily observations and produce reports on Israeli checkpoints in Judea and Samaria.

Two women from the far-left Machsom Watch organization were attacked by Arabs in the Palestinian Authority village of Azzoun in Samaria on Saturday afternoon, according to the Hebrew-language 0404 military news website.

The activists traveled to Azzoun to encourage and support the Arab villagers, but they were completely unprepared when one of the Arab villagers snatched a gold bracelet from the wrist of one of the women.

The attacker fled with the bracelet and the owner of the bracelet began to chase him, according to 0404. Her friend quickly joined the chase, until the two reached the Arab village next to Azzoun.

At that point, Arab residents began to attack, hurling cinder blocks and rocks at the women’s vehicle. They were miraculously rescued by military forces who were forced to abandon an operational activity to come to their aid, barely in time to prevent their being lynched.

The two women left the area with their vehicle, with military forces mobilizing in the area to prevent any further violence.

“The stupidity of the far-left takes them into similar situations every time, and they do not understand the constant danger to their lives,” a military source told 0404. “Because of this lack foresight, IDF forces had to leave an operational activity and rush to an event that was borne of stupidity.”
