Earthquake epicenter in northern Israel. July 4, 2018

Two earthquake shook northern Israel on Wednesday morning.

The first, at 5:34 AM, measured 4.1 on the Richter scale. It’s epicenter was between Nazareth and Tiveria (Tiberias).

The second earthquake, at 6:53 AM, also measured 4.1 on the Richter scale. It’s epicenter was near Carmiel, at a depth of 5 kilometers.

Residents up North reported the shaking as far away as Haifa. No injuries or damage were reported.

A third aftershock was felt in Tiveria at 8:59 AM.
