Obama said he would wait for Congress to debate and decide on the proper punishment for the Syrian regime. But Congress is scheduled to reconvene only on Monday, Sept. 9. How inconvenient. Some media reports say lawmakers may return earlier to mull action against Syria.

An IDF investigation into the events in Qalandiya this morning confirmed that Arabs shot at the IDF troops with guns during the riot, when they attacked the soldiers with blocks and firebombs.. Four bullets were found inside one of the jeeps that had been shot at by the Arab rioters.
