Eli Beer was awarded the Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the World Economic Forum for his technological innovations in lifesaving. The LifeCompass technology was demonstrated to former president Gorge W. Bush when he came to Israel six years ago.

Some 2,3000 volunteers used LifeCompass last year and with it managed to assist in 211,000 emergencies.

“Our objective is to save as many lives as possible; the new app will definitely help save more lives,” Beer said.
