Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara had warm praise for late female Border Guard Police officer Hadas Malka, z’l, during a visit to a photographic exhibition on Thursday (Nov. 22) in her memory with her parents and members of the Malka family.

Hadas Malka, 23, was stabbed to death in a horrific terror attack in June 2018 by three Palestinian Authority terrorists just before the start of the Sabbath near the Damascus Gate entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem.

“The image of Hadas is etched in the hearts of young people and the nation,” said Prime Minister Netanyahu.

“Hadas Malka is an outstanding example everywhere. She was a fighter and a hero. Hadas has become an ideal among the fighting young people of the State of Israel.

“Hadas is an example of bravery, sacrifice, leadership and values and this is remembered in every word and in every photograph. This comes from the home and goes to many homes.”

“Hadas entered our hearts and the heart of the entire people of Israel from the first moment,” said Netanyahu’s wife Sara.

“She is a national hero.”
