Senior PA negotiator Saeb Erekat said earlier this week, “No one benefits more from the success of Secretary Kerry than Palestinians and no one loses more from his failure than Palestinians.”
That is what was said out loud, but off the record, a Palestinian Authority official said Abbas has no expectations that Kerry will come up with any magic potion to resume direct talks.
