Kerry Riding a Loaded Freight Train to Run Over Israel

The Obama administration is preparing to knife Israel in the back by forcing it to accept concessions on land and security to keep the Palestinian Authority happy.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is coming to Israel Thursday night with a one-two knockout punch that puts on the table American plans for Israel’s security in a future Palestinian Authority state.

In addition, Israel has agreed to another American project to would further pave the way for increasing de facto Palestinian Authority sovereignty in areas officially control by Israel and where Jewish communities’ future existence will be threatened.

The Obama administration repeatedly has promised it will not force on Israel an agreement with the Palestinian Authority, but in practice, that is exactly what it has done by the old trick of publicly announcing suggestions and leaving the foreign media and international community to condemn Israel for not accepting them.

The Palestinian Authority then threatens to end the “peace talks” and go the United Nations, leaving U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s diplomatic knife in Israel’s back.

Retired Gen. John Allen, one of President Barack Obama’s “special envoys” to the Middle East who acts as the President’s Israeli defense minister in absentia, reportedly has come up with plans based on his expert knowledge of exactly what Israel needs to defend itself.

Until last year, Allen commanded American forces in Afghanistan, which apparently gives him an excellent understanding of the Jewish state’s security needs.

A host of Israel political leaders and military officials have made it clear that Israel must maintain a military presence in the Jordan Valley in any future Palestinian Authority state.

But Israel’s leaders have said a lot of things, such as dismissing any possibility that it would release mass murderers to bring back the bodies of fallen soldiers, or the return of one live soldier, or for the privilege of sitting down face to face with Palestinian Authority officials whose idea of negotiations is that Israel can decide whether to accepts its demands today or tomorrow.

Details of Allen’s have not been leaked, but given the Palestinian Authority’s rejection of Israel’s deploying soldiers in the Jordan Valley, Allen is bound to come up with something that will sound super-sweet but will end up as poison, which can be smelled in statements from Washington.

One U.S. official said Allen “has been working closely on the ground with his Israeli counterparts,” The Associated Press reported. The official said the Americans realize that security is “paramount” as Israel contemplates taking “calculated risks for peace.”

Been there, done that.

The United States does the “calculations, the Israeli government takes the “risks” and Israeli families pay the price at the cemetery.

A U.S. official traveling with Kerry said the ideas were not a “plan” that could be accepted or rejected.

Sure.

The Haaretz daily said that Allen will tell Netanyahu of his security plans when they meet on Thursday. Kerry then will go to Ramallah, leaving Israel holding the blame bag if it dares to say “no.”

The Associated Press reported that “the American thinking is that if Israeli security concerns can be met, other issues, such as borders, will then fall into place.”

In other words, the U.S. State Dept. has come up with another formula for peace and love in the Middle East. It wasn’t long ago that the United States knew – it did not think, but it knew – that settling the Palestinian Authority-Israeli dispute would open up the locks on all of the regions problems, such as Egypt.

And Syria.

And Iraq.

And Iran.

Kerry’s arrival in Israel Wednesday night follows European Union warnings that if Israel does not agree to a peace pact, the EU will increase its boycott of settlements and will stop funding the Palestinian Authority.

What a coincidence that the warning comes as the same time Kerry is on his way to the Promised Land. It appears the Cathy-John love affair in Geneva was not a one-night stand and Catherine Ashton, the EU’s foreign policy chief, is doing everything possible to hold Kerry’s knife-wielding hand.

Now it knows that all it has to do is guarantee Israel it will be secure and the borders will be automatically drawn.

But behind that thinking is a cynical plan by USAID to help draw Palestinian Authority borders in advance by helping it take over control of “Area C,” presumably dominated by Israel, and endanger the existence of Jewish communities.

Foreign and most Israeli media constantly report that Israel controls Area C, 60 percent of Judea and Samaria. As a 20-year resident in Judea, more specifically the southern Hevron Hills, I can testify that Israel is control on paper and the Palestinian Authority increasingly is control on the ground.

The reason is unfortunately simple: The European Union, and more recently the United States, have poured tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars into the Palestinian Authority to literally pay Arabs to squat on what used to be government land, now totally forfeited to the Palestinian Authority.

Jews, who for the first time in 2,000 years returned to the land, are being squeezed out by Arabs who only moved in as an afterthought, correctly worried that the Jews would take over no-man’s land that they later claim has been theirs for centuries.

The United States and the European Union are drawing the borders of a future Palestinian Authority state by squeezing out Jews and turning over Area C to the Palestinian Authority.

As Kerry arrives, Maariv reported that Israeli officials confirm its report that nearly eight square miles in the “Israeli-controlled area will be developed with the help of USAID.

The land reportedly is “private” Palestinian Authority land, but “private” has become a term to define land that has no claim by Jews.

There is little ”private” land in Judea and Samaria. Most of it was government land of the Ottoman Empire before 1917, the Jordanian government from 1948 to 1967 and then under Israeli control. But Israel let it slide into the hands of international anarchists and leftists, who have worked to make sure Jews won’t be tolerated.

The Maariv report did not state exactly where the land is located.

“We are interested in expanding the Palestinians’ economic options in Area C,” an U.S. official told Maariv.

The land is not adjacent to the security fence or to Jewish communities, but that is of little help to Jews. The Israel government the past decade has stopped almost all Jewish development of what used to be government land and has allowed the Palestinian Authority to take over what it wants.

Construction, without any permits, planning or building codes, has turned areas into a string of Arab villages, with some houses built literally on the shoulders of main highways.

So much for Israel sovereignty.

  1. This is idiotic. Every inch given by Israel is only going to result in Palestinians demanding ten more. They don’t want a two-state solution, they want all of Israel given to them and the Jews removed. One way or another.

  2. There already exists a de facto 2 state solution: Israel & Jordan. Any other attempt to erode Israel is so the Arabs and anti Semites can destroy the Jewish aspect of the country. Arabs from Judea are easily manipulated peons.

  3. Woe.be unto Kerry and obama …..all who opposes Isreal.says the scriptures

  4. What low lifes Kerry and Obama are… back stabbing cowards!

  5. John Newman says:

Agree that Is the intended Oslo plan.

  6. David Brooks says:

How many tsunamis and hurricanes is it going to take these imbeciles until they realise every time Kerry or Clinton does this, they get hit back ten times harder. I’d hate to think what would happen if they succeed in forcing Israel out of Yesha…

  7. Israel owns that land and more….we are in such trouble in the US for going against Israel

  8. Not Kosher. Not good at all.

  9. Kerry works for Obama; who is Georgy Soros’ puppet. Soros runs Washington DC for Jacob Rothschild. Said same family that were involved in the holocaust. Maybe interviewing and questioning Jacob Rothschild would be a good thing.

  10. I feel so sick over all of this. and what is coming….

  11. Jack Pinski says:

    No land concesion Kerry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Trust the cowardly Kerry and the islamic POTUS Obama at your own risk; they mean Israel harm and will do everything in their power to diminish the standing of Jews worldwide. Shun them, shun the US $$$$$$, stand alone and drive the evil ones from our midst…if Israel is not for Jews then it is not for anyone!

  13. "if you like your settlements, you can KEEP your settlements!!

  14. Kjeld Hesselmann says:

The current POTUS’ position in the Middle East don’t seem to be very successfully, does it? To Israel Obama’s final act is unacceptable. Like EU’s lady Ashton’s role in relation to a deal with Tehran John Kerry’s visit just happen to be one were the world can celebrate that a agreement has been maintained – without any considerations of the future possibilities of such an arrangement.

  15. Alan Kardon says:

Until the Palestinians accept that Israel has a right to exist there is nothing to discuss.

  16. Gita says:

I unfortunately have to blame the Israelis for not holding on to what's rightfully theirs. Aera C is and has to stay in complete Israeli control with whatever means
    necessary.

  17. I am praying that Israel will not be cheated again. God help Israel to get wisdom from You. Ame
