7:19 PM: Islamic Jihad declares it will “break the silence”.

7:11 PM Over 70 rockets have been launched at Israel from Gaza. 30 landed within Israel. Two landed in populated areas. No injuries were reported, but there is minor damage.

Terrorists from Hamas-controlled Gaza attacked the Western Negev with 50 missiles and mortar shells late Wednesday afternoon, and the IDF downed several rockets with the Iron Dome anti-missile system.

No one was hurt and there have not yet been reports of any property damage, but not all of the explosion sites have been located yet.

The military orders residents in Sderot, Netivot and surrounding farming communities to remain in their homes.

The Islamic Jihad said it was behind the attacks, one day after the IDF eliminated three of its terrorists immediately following a mortar shell was fired on Israel soldier on patrol near the security fence at southern Gaza.

  1. Jihad Islami has taken credit.

  2. Praying for Israel!!

  3. Jerry Raketti says:

Something Big in the works ? 'Terrorists want Israel to expend' Iron Dome Ammo' for the real attack ?

  4. Ronny Mol says:

No other country in the world would NOT respond with the same kind of weaponry to the area it was attacked from. So Mr. Mansour, the gates of hell are open for Gaza. It is only because we have leadership who are scared of what the world might say if we did what they do. I do NOT see the world's countries worried about Syria. So if Syria is allowed to drop explosive barrels on apartment buildings and hospitals, why are exempt?

  5. Sandy Benet says:

    They lost it 60years ago

  6. Enough already, reoccupy Gaza, annex it to greater Israel and send the islamic murdereres and gangsters packing…those that survive anyway. We don't need cheap Arab labor for anything, ever again! "They Must Go."

  7. Anonymous says:

I can't imagine was Israel goes through with the barbarians in Gaza firing missiles which at you. If that was Cuba doing this to Florida within 1 day Castro and his entire island would be destroyed.

  8. IDF take Gaza, it is time, Gaza has to dessappear.

  9. TIME TO BOMB OUT GAZA..NONE OF OUR MEN ON THE GROUND JUST RAZE IT TO THE GROUND..END OF THAT SAD STORY..NOW YOU KNOW,I HOPE THAT WE GIVE THEM NOTHING.THEY HAVE JORDAN AND 23 OTHER COUNTRIES…..WE CAN"T LIVE WITH MURDERERS FOREVER.NO LAND.SWAPS..THEY ARE TOO CRUEL TO HAVE AS NEIGHBOURS.WE KEEP THE ARABs LIVING IN ISRAEL PROPER>>THE BEAUTIFUL ARABS OF GAZA GO TO JORDAN OR ANY OTHER PEACE LOVING COUNTRY WHO WANTS THEM""

  10. NO MENTION OF THE IRON DOME ! MORE SPYING ON THESE GUYS IS NEEDED BEFORE THEY SEND THE ROCKETS.

  11. Gift Airwaves says:

God will continue to protect Israel from her enemies

  12. This is OUTRAGEOUS! No other nation EVER has behaved in such a restrained manner as Israel – and no other nation ever would do so now or in the future. It simply leaves me speechless – but for one sentence: Lord G-d of Israel, PLEASE RISE UP in defence of Your people – and a HUGE THANK YOU for Your protective Hands over The Apple of Your Eye!
