A Patriot Missile system in Israel.

Israel launched a Patriot missile at a drone that nearly infiltrated from Syria into Israeli territory over the Golan Heights, according to the IDF. The event happened sometime after 1 PM on Tuesday.

The drone was successfully shot down.

Update: The drone was an Iranian made drone that took off from Damascus, Syria. It was being piloted by Hezbollah on a reconnaissance mission.

The drone did not breach Israeli airspace when it was shot down, but had crossed the cease-fire line.

According to Elnashra News, the Israeli Air Force retaliated against 4 Syrian targets, and the IAF launched their attack from over Lebanon.
