Unidentified attackers shelled the northern Golan Heights for the fourth time since Saturday, according to Israeli military sources who said Wednesday night that a “projectile fired from Syria hit an open area in the northern Golan Heights.”

No injuries were reported.

“The projectile fire is errant and is a result of the internal fighting in Syria,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Office said in a statement.

The area around and across from Quneitra, particularly around several tourist gathering spots, was declared to be closed military zones earlier this week due to the numerous incidents of “errant” fire that managed to “spill over” Israel’s northern border.
