The official Syrian news agency SANA reported Wednesday morning that “the army air defense on Wednesday dawn confronted a new attack by the Israeli occupation entity on one of the sites in Damascus Countryside.”

Syrian state television repeated the announcement, saying air defenses have “dealt with new Israeli aggression” near Damascus.
