In the American legal system, Silverglate told The Jewish Press, “exclusion would have to be determined on an individualized basis.”  In other words, you cannot bar an entire class of people based on a particular characteristic such as race, religion, or gender.

Efforts to reach Mr. Cohn for comment were unsuccessful.
