A late model 7 series BMW traveling eastbound on Oriental Blvd. struck a telephone pole late Wednesday evening. Bystanders say that the accident occurred as a result of swerving to avoid hitting another vehicle. Hatzalah and FDNY are on the scene dealing with at least one jury resulting from the accident. The police are searching for another that they believe  may have contributed to the accident.

A grey Toyota traveling northbound on Ocean PKWY was hit on the drivers side door as minivan traveling on the southbound lane of Ocean Pkwy. attempted to make a right turn onto Kings HWY.
Hatzalah is on the scene dealing with an injured occupant in the minivan.

Motor vehicle accident in the intersection of Ocean Parkway and Ave. P involving a minivan and four door sedan. It appears that accident had occurred on Ocean Parkway in the extreme right southbound lane. There are no apparent injuries. The right lane is closed with numerous members from FDNY at the scene.

As in past years, thousands of people from all over the country descended on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan to cheer on the dozens of floats and marchers in the annual Salute to Israel Day Parade. Also, as in past years, many local politicians came to publicly express their support for Israel, along with tens of thousands of other supporters.
