To Protect Jewish Students, California University Committee Recommends Ban on Hate Speech

Speculation on the future of anti-Israel demonstrations at the University of California (UC) and its nine campuses has increased in recent weeks after a mid-July report from the UC President’s Advisory Council on Campus Climate recommended banning all hate speech.

    Mute suggestion: The presidents of the colleges that make up the UC system have already stated rather clearly that attacks on Jews, unlike attacks on Muslims, is free speech and will not even be condemned. What do you expect from a State that tried to make Judaism illegal.

Hate Speech at University of California

A report recommended that UC consider banning all hate speech from its nine campuses.

The Library Quad on the campus of California State University, Sacramento, one of the university system's 23 campuses across the state of California. CSU has almost 427,000 students, who can, first the first time in ten years, study abroad in Israel.

In 2002, California State University system cancelled study abroad programs in Israel due to U.S. State Department warnings. The University has 23 campuses in different cities throughout California and almost 427,000 students.
