WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, for instance, interviewed Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah on Tuesday, in the debut of his "The World Tomorrow" talk show on Russia's state-funded RT cable broadcaster. Still, Assange posed good questions, which Nasrallah answered with familiar party lines.

Ranking Islamic Jihad official Khader Adnan, who went on a 66-day hunger strike over his detention by Israel, has been released in keeping with the deal reached with him to end his hunger strike in February. One day before his release on Tuesday, some 2,300 Palestinian inmates in Israeli jails began an open-ended hunger strike, synchronized with Palestinian rallies marking "Prisoners' Day."

The covers were confiscated by inspectors of the Unit for the Prevention of Antiquities Robbery while checking shops in the market place of the Old City in Jerusalem.

Last Saturday at 7 a.m., Israeli Border Police detained and beat up a nine-year-old Jewish child in Hebron, after he entered a closed military zone near Machpelah House. Additional support came from Hagit Rein, mother of Major B'naya Rein who was killed in the Second Lebanon War and whose body Eisner retrieved.
