Om Beach, in the State of Karnataka in South West India, is about a two hour drive south of Goa. It’s a quiet place, where travelers—many of them Israelis—come to watch the sunset and take in the silence.

Bait Yehudi, on top of a jungle hill off Om Beach, is where Jews—mainly Israelis—go to eat something kosher and to light Shabbat candles.
