That’s Some Wet Goat

We’ve been having bucketloads of rain here, in Israel, this winter, so much so that these soaking-wet goats, belonging to Kibbutz Tzova in the Judean Hills, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, had to be herded into an overnight shelter.
It’s a little like looking at a bunch of wool sweaters that were left out in the rain.
Aren’t you glad Odorama hasn’t been invented yet?

I have found that goats are very curious and as one can see in the picture, they are all herding together toward the person taking the picture… to find out what's going on. They also looked like they needed to be milked. I've had some goats (5) in my life time and they were very friendly. As I was working near by them, they came up to me and started nibbling on my clothes and hair. Goats do not have any upper front teeth but rather a hard gum; so, when they eat grass, they grab it with their upper gum and lower teeth, jerk their head up and back so as to cut the grass off with their bottom front teeth. This was how they were nibbling on me. Usually when I milked the goats, all the cats would gather around and wait for me to finish so as to lick up the droppings from the milking stand. Once, a certain goat kept kicking as I was milking her. I yelled at her “this is your lot; so, stop kicking.” She stopped chewing her kud and looked at me straight into the eyes. From then on, she never kicked again.
