The world, including the U.S. and the E.U. is shocked, because Israel is daring to build homes east of the armistice line of 1949. Israel suggests that the 1949 line was erased in 1967, in response to a violation, by Jordan, of the 1949 armistice.

They say this construction will threaten the two-state solution.

Let’s hope so.

Meanwhile – look how beautiful these homes look in the Jerusalem sunset. It almost makes up for the threat to the two-state solution.
