We Protest

We Protest

The Women of the Wal 2nd Rosh Chodesh Kislev prayer (they skipped the first) went by quietly, with very little reaction from the Haredim. Maybe the presence of an entire police regiment helped. Maybe the Haredim were just exasperated and let them have this one.

Except for the woman in the picture, who stood among the celebrating Women in phylacteries, with notes stuck to her body reading: “We” and “Protest” and “The” and Desecration of God.”

I think she left an impression, down here and up there.
