’WHAT, ME WORRY?’

PM Kerry Unmasks Himself, Crowns Palestinian Authority as a ‘Country’

Kerry finally has tripped over himself, bared his not-so-hidden agenda and stated that the Palestinian Authority is a country. Asked later about the slip of the tongue, he asked, “Did I say that?”

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry made a Freudian slip of the tongue Thursday that reveals the mindset of the U.S. State Dept., referring to Israel and the Palestinian Authority as “countries.”

“Both leaders in the region, Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Abbas, have made a courageous decision to try to return to final status talks. And it’s my hope that that will be able to happen as procedures are put in place by both countries in order to empower that.

That is not a just a slip of the tongue. It is the unmasked truth of Kerry and his predecessors’ mindset.

Speaking with U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon at the United Nations, Kerry spoke about troubled areas in the world and stated, “And finally, the granddaddy of them all, I guess, the question of the possibility of peace between Palestinians and Israelis.

State Dept. Spokeswoman Jen Psaki, of course, assured reporters that “he did not mean to imply a change in policy… He did not mean to imply anything by it.“

If Kerry had mistakenly said that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, or if he were to refer to the Golan Heights as part of Israel, it would be headlining in the media for days.

Astoundingly, reporters covering the State Dept. bought Psaki’s answer, hook, line and sinker.

More astounding was a statement Kerry made after his blooper. When asked about his comment, he answered, “Did I say that?”

The truth is that State Dept. policy has not changed. Not long after the Six-Day War in 1967, the foreign policy staff at Foggy Bottom began an information and propaganda campaign that exists until today, undermining a Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria, the Golan Heights and parts of Jerusalem that were occupied by Jordan – without a legal mandate – from 1948 until 1967.

Several years, when I was writing for Israel National News, I was tipped off to a bunch of old file cabinets that the U.S. Consulate in formerly Jordanian-occupied Jerusalem sold off at an auction.

The luck buyer was Jewish Press blogger Paula Stern. What was unlucky for the United States is that someone forgot to remove documents from the file cabinets.

There were thousands of papers, mainly from the State Dept.’s U.S. Information Agency. They bore testimony to hundreds of millions of dollars spent to buy off Arabs in Jerusalem with artistic, political and educational program designed to promote an invented Palestinian identity and culture.

The Obama administration is only one of several that has done everything to shrink Israel’s borders to those of the Temporary Armistice Lines, which existed until 1967.

When Kerry referred to the Palestinian Authority as a country, he was expressing his honest intentions, and you don’t have to use Freudian psychology to realize

The problem for Israel is that Kerry actually believes everything that has been handed down to him.

In another statement he made last week, he unknowingly mentioned one of the real reasons why peace is not possible between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

Speaking to American Muslims at the end of a day of fasting during Ramadan, he stated, “I think you will agree with me. I have never met a child in my life – two years old, two and a half years old, three years old – who hates anybody. They may hate their broccoli or something else they’re forced to eat, but they don’t hate other people or kids. They learn that. It is taught. It is passed down.”

If he had understood what he said, he would have tossed in the garbage can the file on the “Palestinian struggle.”

The USIA is so busy trying to cultivate an artistic and Westernized Palestinian culture that it ignores the other culture, the one set in motion by Yasser Arafat and continued by chairman Mahmoud Abbas in his suit-and-tie costume.

Incitement and preaching of hate is daily a Palestinian Authority routine, in mosques, in schools and in official Palestinian Authority media.

When Kerry refers to the Palestinian Authority as a country, he should be careful for what he wishes.

The problem is that if he succeeds like Bill Clinton succeeded in concluding the Oslo Accords, the whole ball of wax again will blow up in the face – not Kerry’s but Israel’s.
