Presbyterian church members visit the SodaStream factory in Maaleh Adumim

Another group dismayed with the Presbyterian Church elite is the America-Israel Friendship League (AIFL), which says it “is dedicated to strengthening the ties between the United States and Israel through its people-to-people programs.”

Fourteen of its members are visiting Israel and have visited the SodaStream factory in the Judean Desert, between Jerusalem and Jericho, to see for itself the operation that has become known for its equal treatment of Palestinian Authority workers as much as it is known for its fizzy drinks advertised by Scarlett Johansson.

They said that their visit reinforced their belief that the plant helps the Arabs as well as Arab and Jewish relations.
