The Jordanian General Intelligence Department has foiled a major terrorist plot which was in the planning and preliminary stages, according to the Petra news agency. The plot, by a group of 11 terrorists associated with Al Qaeda, was designed to target and carry out attacks against vital targets in Jordan including shopping centers, residential areas, diplomats and foreign nationals.

Hamas, the terrorist organization that controls the Gaza Strip, passed information to Israel which led to the extermination of the senior Salafi Jihadist official in the Gaza Strip Hisham Sa'idani, and another senior official, Ashraf Sabah. The two members of the Salafi Jihadist organization based in the Gaza Strip and the Sinai, the "Mujahideen Shura Council near Jerusalem," were killed on Saturday after an IAF aircraft fired a missile at a motorcycle they were riding in the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza.

The drone was launched from Lebanon, in a cooperation between the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and the Lebanon-based terrorist group Hezbollah, the Sunday Times of London reported, citing unnamed sources. Hassan Nasrallah in a televised speech Oct. 11 admitted to sending the drone which was followed, then intercepted and shot down in an unpopulated area.

Days and nights in southern Israel have been punctuated by a growing number of sirens and rocket explosions, with over 60 rockets striking Israeli cities and communities this past week. On Monday morning alone, 55 Qassam and mortar shells were fired from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. The rocket strikes damaged buildings, properties and a kibbutz petting zoo that is usually filled with children, but was empty because of the early morning hour.
