News → IslamistsHamas, the terrorist organization that controls the Gaza Strip, passed information to Israel which led to the extermination of the senior Salafi Jihadist official in the Gaza Strip Hisham Sa'idani, and another senior official, Ashraf Sabah. The two members of the Salafi Jihadist organization based in the Gaza Strip and the Sinai, the "Mujahideen Shura Council near Jerusalem," were killed on Saturday after an IAF aircraft fired a missile at a motorcycle they were riding in the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza.

On Monday morning alone, 55 Qassam and mortar shells were fired from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. The rocket strikes damaged buildings, properties and a kibbutz petting zoo that is usually filled with children, but was empty because of the early morning hour.
