Police: Sharp Increase in Terrorist Activity Since Gaza Operation

18:45 – Resident of Ma’alleh Levonah along with another passenger attacked at the village of Sinjil. A fire bomb was thrown at the vehicle they were traveling in by a terrorist. They miraculously managed to escape a few seconds before the car burned completely.

19:00 – Two Border Police officers were lightly injured by stones during a riot by a few dozen Arabs at the Halhul junction.

19:50 – IDF manning a pillbox near the village of Salem, at the Menashe sector, were attacked with stones. A Soldier went to one of the observation posts, a long burst of automatic fire was shot at him. Observers of IDF identified the two suspects. A chase began, during which troops were attacked with stones and burning tires. Hit marks were identified on the post.

20:00 – Fire bomber attacked a soldier near the junction of Elias, in the Hebron sector. The soldier shot and killed him. Several Arabs rioted in response.

20:00 – Dozens of Arabs rioted near Rachel’s Tomb. The IDF responded with crowd dispersal means. 9 rioters were hit.

20:00 – Atarot Border Police base attacked with five Molotov cocktails.
