On July 26 Youssef entered a house in the community of Adam, between Jerusalem and Ramallah and murdered Yotam Ovadia, a father of two, before being shot dead by 41-year-old Asaf Ravid who was lightly injured.

The IDF Spokesman’s Unit said in a statement that during the activity, dozens of Palestinians Authority Arabs threw stones, Molotov cocktails and burned tires. “The forces responded by dispersing the demonstrations,” the statement said, adding that there were no casualties to IDF forces.

Shorty after the demolition, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman tweeted:.

“On the seventh day of the murder of Yotam Ovadia, at his home in Adam, I told his widow and his parents that we would soon destroy the house of the terrorist. Tonight this circle is closed. We will continue to fight terror with an iron fist, we will continue to build in Adam and anywhere else where we they try to harm our citizens. “
