There was an attempted stabbing terror attack at the Gitai Avishar Junction in the Shomron, located between Barkan and Ariel, on Monday morning.
MDA received a call at 11:56 AM of a stabbing attempt.

The terrorist attempted to stab a soldier with his knife and was shot and neutralized by other soldiers guarding nearby. The terrorist is now in very serious condition. It is not yet confirmed that he is dead.
Update: The terrorist is dead.
No one was wounded in the attack.
This is the third major terror attack in the Shomron in eight days.
